Schooled in Colorado, Scott Shaesby started a business making custom furniture. While he enjoyed the aspects of the studio, he found the trade limiting as he could not freely express his creativity. Through metalsmithing, he learned to scale down large sculpture into smaller more intimate forms, a natural transition to jewelry design. Now based in Austin, Texas, Shaesby is recognized for creating classic pieces that combine art and fashion. Shaesby continues to develop new work representing his creative passion for design.
